I am Bernadette Orellana, CAMTC certified massage therapist. Active Myofascial Therapis. LaStone Therapist. Now licensed Aesthetician!
I have been living in the
Salinas Valley with my family for 12 years.
Growing up my mother and grandmother would care for my family with massage and herbs. I wanted to learn how the body heals, in what methods would benefit the body, and how to speed up the healing process. I attended and graduated from Monterey Institute of Touch in Carmel Valley in 2009. I like to be up to date with new techniques or new information in the field of massage and bodywork therapy. I will go back and take a few classes either at the school or online. As a client, I have experience getting treatments for pain. I found that essential oils, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and active myofascial therapy has improved my quality of life. Most importantly has helped lessen my pain. To futher add to my skills and better the lives of my clients in 2015 I enrolled in Marinello Schools of Beauty and graduated in December 2015. In January 2016 I became a licensed aesthetician.
I formally provided massage services at Refuge in Mid Carmel Valley. A beautiful outdoor spa.
I am currently a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) since 2009. I have volunteered at Big Sur International Marathon 2009 and 2014-15 at the Runner's World massage tent. I enjoy working alongside other massage therapists at community events.
Giving back to the community is important to me. I have donated massages at Relay For Life events. I have given massages for Health week at places like Mee Memorial Hospital and Mee at Greenfield Clinic. I have given massages for MOPS in King City for moms who very much need a massage.
